Welcome! to Calvary Christian Church

Calvary Christian Church is an evangelical, full gospel, non-denominational church that has been located in Royal Oak, Michigan [map] since 1934. Calvary's ministries include a Christian school, and "Kingdom Living" our daily half hour radio program.

The leadership of Calvary believes that the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and conduct. Praise and worship are an important part of services because we believe that we enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). We also have learned that the Lord is enthroned in the praises of Israel (Psalm 22:3). We believe biblical worship serves both to honor God and to prepare hearts to receive the Word.

My desire is that everybody who attends a service at Calvary will be blessed in at least three ways. First, that they will encounter the Presence of the Lord as we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Second, that the ministry of God's Word will go forth with clarity and in the power of the Holy Spirit. And third, that they will experience the edifying fellowship of the saints.
