Missions
Palawan, Philipines
John and Joy Stutzman, and Luke and
Annie Pearson [email],
oversee a fellowship of 80 churches on the 250 mile long island
of Palawan. Many of the fellowship's pastors were trained at the
Bible school which Calvary fully supports and is led by these missionaries.
God has opened a new door for the ministry to reach desperate, homeless,
street children. An orphanage is being built on 240 acres of government
land, given to the ministry for this purpose."
Manila, Philippines
Nelson and Ellaine Praxidio
[email] are reaching out
to the desperately poor in Pasig City, a southern suburb of Manila.
A hole in the backyard wall (which separates their neighborhood
from the 'slum') allows these missionaries to feed the needy - spiritually
and physically. The Praxidios pastor Calvary Christian Church and,
along with their staff, run a pre-school & kindergarten, and
distribute food to the poor. While Calvary (Philippines) looks for
ways to become self-sufficient, currently, Calvary (Royal Oak) fully
supports the pastors, staff, and building expense.
Jerusalem, Israel
Nigel and Sandy Lidiard [email]
minister praise and worship unto God in Jerusalem. Their vision
is for song and prayer to be lifted up around the clock, every day,
continuously. May they be among those who welcome the return of
Jesus to the Holy City. Calvary participates in supporting the Lidiards.
Tlokweng, Botswana
Bill and Denise Sabin [email]
are missionaries to Botswana, supported by Calvary. Assisting Pastor
Dwayne and Berdetta Byers, the Sabins operate a church and Christian
school in Tlokweng. The school teaches academics and Christian faith
to 600 students grades K-7, many of whom are from other nations
and faiths.
Okinawa, Japan
Charles Elofson [email]
is the founder and headmaster of a Christian school in Okinawa,
Japan. Calvary is one of the many support partners helping Charles
and wife Chikako reach out to Japanese children,
teaching them academics and the bible.
